Hey Graza,

The cd that you have is nice but the best Me'Shell's album for me is "Peace Beyond Passion" (The blue one...) with the great Gene Lake on drums so check it out !!!

    Peace.

Mark Simmons from Diane Reeves band is another bad cat from that high school in Houston that Mint Condition came out of.

Mark Simmons is nasty also. I've heard him with Diane Reeves, and he's a bad mamma jamma fo' sho'.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">GREAT album! By far my favorite of Meshell's joints. All of her stuff is great though. Gene Lake is an absolute monster, just tears up the grooves on that disc (and everything else he plays, basically).

funkydrummer- yeah, Brailey as well as Frank Waddy can lay it down big time. Whenever I have to play a straight 2 and 4 I think of them, Jeff, Abe Jr, ?uestlove, Chris Dave, Adam Deitch, Harvey Mason, Gadd and Vinnie.
